What is the best term to use?

OK, here’s a $64,000.00 question for all the rescue folks out there – and it doesn’t SVR1Nullsmatter what type of rescue (vehicle, rope, c-space, etc.)…

What should be considered the correct term when we refer to a rescue operation?  Should it be called a patient-oriented rescue or patient-focused rescue?

When you read the dictionary there is a difference between something being oriented or being focused.  (click on the words for a dictionary link)

What do you think it should be?  Complete the poll on the top left of this page and vote for which one you think is most appropriate – and hopefully the type of rescue you are performing.
